We published our new app, Password Keeper, today on the Google Play Store and Amazon Appstore. The app uses Google AdMob as its main advertising platform, and all went well until around after 7 seconds. Google AdMob shocked us with an ad serving limit, potentially stopping us from generating money for less that 30 days, or even more.
As a developer, you need to make sure your advertisements are working before you publish an app. AdMob says that if you click on your own ads for a high number of times, you will get a ban. We clicked ads maybe once or twice just to make sure they were working properly, but AdMob clearly didn't accept that. My argument is - AdMob needs to think about the new developers, who know nothing about these sort of things. Giving people bans for "invalid clicks", even though they have not generated any money, is very stupid. If you are a new developer, beware of this company. They can do anything they they want, whenever they want, however they want.
